Celebrate The Small Things

What I'm Celebrating This Week

– I've been super busy with real-life work as I'm now doing 4 days a week, which is painful when it comes to my writing schedule, but I'm managing. Am working on two great campaigns at work, which is exciting.

– For the past couple of weeks, I've been doing lots of work on my newsletter in attempt to grow the numbers, and it's working!!  I've moved from Mail Chimp to Mad Mimi, which is the best decision ever!! Mad Mimi comes with it's own drip campaign section, which will make my life super-easy. The numerous lists I have set up for different subscribers is so easy and handy to use. I'm loving Mad Mimi:) Loads of cool stuff. Plus, I'm about to start a new themed event, and some other VIP items just for my subscribers.

– This morning I hit 17K on my newest dragon-influenced novel. And that means it's time to get cracking on my editing so I can share it with my critique partners. That's my goal for next week.

– Right now I'm working on 3 books, one will come out later this year, and the others are planned for next year. In fact, if things go to plan, next year will be an amazing year. Anyway, here's a snippet of one of the stories coming out later this year.

Cloaked in Blood Blurb

The daughter of a sultan alpha, Selena Kurt agrees to an arranged wulfkin mating to protect her sister from a dangerous alpha from the enemy clan. To her surprise, her match is Marcin Ulf, the next in line for the Hungarian throne…and the wulfkin who broke her heart years ago.
Marcin is just as shocked to learn he’ll be matched to the enemy’s daughter and the woman he’s never forgotten. Before they can be paired, however, they’re drawn into a tournament where Marcin will compete to free his estranged imprisoned brother, while Selena battles for the life of another wulfkin alpha. Both intend to seize this chance to save those they’re fighting for—even if it means facing off with one another just as their romance rekindles.
Will tribe loyalty triumph, or will they realize they’re better off as a team before it’s too late?

  1. Wow, it must be nice to be writing. I'm stuck in the doldrums with kids home from school. What little time I have on the computer has been spent blogging, but I have plenty of editing that needs to be done and I'd love to write something new.

  2. Wonderful things here! I actually dropped my newsletter because I wasn't enthusiastic about it and it was hard to get subscribers, but maybe I'll pick it up again one day.

  3. I need to get more organized about my newsletter – I just started it last month, so I may pick your brain at some point! SO excited for your dragon story. And the banner for Cloaked in Christmas is gorgeous!

  4. Sounds like life is good 🙂 I'm reading a dragon book now by J. Keller Ford, a gal who helped me polish my work. Loving it so far. Can't wait to read yours! I wish I could write about dragons but I'm just no good at that stuff.
